As a family we will share with you our experience of preparing the Argentine Mate ritual.
We will tell you about the history of mate, its origins and the different types of yerba we drink. You will learn how to prepare it with us, in a step by step, herbs, the correct water temperature, various types of herbs available and our way of preparing delicious mates.
You are going to prepare your mate and explore the taste and smell of the Yerba that we use, which are various and different.
You will learn what mate means to Argentines within a family or among friends and its power of union between people.
While we talk, you can ask us questions and we can share anecdotes about why it is our companion drink.
You will enjoy this class in the living room of our house and we will also share our homemade handmade bread and dulce de leche, which is also unique.
Our meeting ends with live guitar music from Estanislao, who is a great composer of songs and performs on guitar and piano.
